Honesty and Integrity: Be honest and state your arguments according to your personal beliefs. In terms of honesty, dont replicate or steal other peoples work, give them credit for what they have written if you use parts of their writing in your papers.

2. Cite Your Sources: Avoid plagiarism and make sure to cite your sources so that the reader not only knows where the information is coming from, but also so that they can determine whether or not they find the information you present to be valid and accurate. Use credible sources because they make for more captivating arguments.

3. Be respectful: Everyone has different opinions on issues, as well as different writing styles, so it is important when evaluating others work to do so in a non-biased manner and respect what opinions they may hold. It is not okay to put other classmates down. This is not to say you cant create a counter-argument against their opinion, but make

sure to do so in a respectful manner .

4. Be clear in what the main point is that you want the reader to understand. If you are organized, concise, have proper formatting, and are consistent throughout your paper, you will give yourself a better chance to reach your reader and capture their attention.

5. Be open-minded. Not only will you produce better writing if you keep an open mind, but you will also be a better critic of your peers work. You will also have more fun with the process of writing if you are open-minded and wont struggle as much with difficult assignments.
