This Technical Note gives details of the various applications of the clip removing tool.

Fir tree type clips and interior trim clips can easily be removed using the SODICAM pliers tool, Part No : 77 11 171 249. Its flattened, bevelled end piece allows for easy access underneath the clips. This reduces damage to the head of the clip and therefore in the majority of cases the clips can be re-used when refitting.

It can also be used for removing mudguard securing clips.
