This retrospective study originated from our multidisciplinary head and neck cancer clinic at St Vincents Hospital, Darlinghurst, Sydney which is a teaching hospital of the University of New South Wales, Sydney, Australia. This article reports similar and perhaps better results as other Australian hospitals in this scenario. We think this article deserves publication as it confirms the importance of multimodality treatment using both treatment modalities of surgery and radiotherapy in this disease, which is a major problem in our country.
