Performance Drama

Performance Drama: Taking a deeper look into scene work and the inner dealings of characters, Performance Drama will be a more defined, challenging, and exploratory course solidifying basic concepts. Writing short plays will also be worked on this semester. Advanced Scene Study: a further exploration of what makes a character tick, and how to bring a scene to life Movement: much like that of Beginning Drama this section will help keep basic knowledge of how to use ones body on stage, active Voice Production and Dialects: Actors will learn how to better use their voice to convey a story through articulation, projection, dialects, and proper breathing Writing short plays: We will explore how to write a short play and how to develop characters for that play etc.
