    GOLDEN ASH

    Ash Floating earthwards Golden yellow From tree, not fire Autumns gift Leaves A soft farewell Embrace the fall Earthly slumber Silent feast Tree Bare, furrowed skin Reaching skywards Sleeping, silent Storms will pass Leaves Renew their life From earth to tree In Springtimes warmth Brightest green Song The birds return To find their tree To feast and dance Joyous life.
