For the moment...everyone has presented his side of the case except the Mexican worker himself...

My thoughts
Many times when people are prejudiced against, they are not able to speak for themselves. Everyone around them is making accusations and assumptions, which creates a more tense and unjust environment. Does this suggest that the basis for the idea that the Mexicans were not wanting to work and only claiming charity came from prejudice, not facts?

On the contrary, it is widely felt by the Mexicans that there are more men than there are jobs....

...The Mexican immigrant still feels the burden of old prejudices. What are the old prejudices? Does it mean those prejudices toward the Mexicans that were felt in the early days of California and the settling of the West Coast? ...I would ask for recognition of the Mexican's contribution to the agricultural and industrial expansion of western United States.... I think Galarza is not asking for much when he calls for recognition, but it might have been a big deal during the 1920s because of all of the prejudices and pride people had then.

If it is true that the Mexican has brought to you arms that have I really like this statement because it is so passionate, yet so logical. It makes fastened a civilization on the Pacific slope, then give him his sense to give people what they are due and be kind and gentle to people, not put due. If you give him his earned wage and he proves improvident them down, when they disagree with you. They have most likely helped you, so teach him otherwise; if he is tuberculous, cure him; if he falls to be unkind to them would be not right. This statement is applicable to people into indigence, raise him. He has built you an empire! today.
