    Vicente Morales attended a KWL Chart workshop on lesson planning in Mexico City from August 1st-2nd. He learned about key elements of lesson planning such as objectives, aims, assessment techniques, and classroom management strategies. He gained a better understanding of the differences between evaluation and assessment and how to incorporate formative assessment. Morales also learned about aligning lessons with the NEPBE framework and creating rubrics to clearly communicate assessment criteria to students. The workshop helped him understand the importance of knowing his students and adapting lessons to different learning styles.
