Situation: I usually have a semi-structured class wherein students are given the option to choose the type of test to take. Set 1 is a logical type of test, Set 2 is an essay, and Set 3 is an amalgamation of objective items. Regardless of sets, they are assumed equal in terms of measurement. Pre and post testing are usually done before and after each adventure and experiential learning strategy. These techniques allow the students to be in a scenario where they can learn independently. 1. In a 50 item pre-test examination, students are expected to get 50 percent correct answers. Determine if there is a significant difference between the students actual performance from the expected results. 2. You want to determine if there is a link between their gender and their choice of test type. 3. You want to know if they improved. 4. You want to know if there is a noteworthy variance in the posttest results between genders. 5. Establish the link between the strategies used, as surrogated by the posttest results, with satisfaction. Congratulations for a job well done!
