CIG Error Guide

1. Locate GarenaCIG icon on the desktop

GarenaCIG icon is located on the right bottom corner of the screen, left click on it. (Refer to image 1.)

2. Display icons when everything is OK 2.1 When GarenaCIG is working correctly AND the PC has existing subscription for: 1) Gold Membership 2) HoN VIP 3) Both The respective icon/icons will be displayed on GarenaCIG panel. (Refer to Image 2, image 3 and image 4.)

1) When the PC has only existing subscription for Gold Membership.

2) When the PC has only existing subscription for HoN VIP.

3) When the PC has existing subscription for both Gold Membership and HoN VIP.

3. When

is shown on GarenCIG panel

3.1 When GarenaCIG is working correctly but there is NO existing subscription on this PC for any of GCA product. Refer to Image 5.

3.2 When display message shows otherwise than [Service] Success: Register OK Step 1- Click button. However, if Gold Membership is still unavailable on this PC,

follow the list below to solve the problem.

4. Error list and solutions

a. Failed: Failed to load AuthKey. CIG service is unable to read the Authkey from the registry; please reinstall CIG with a correct Authkey.

b. Failed: Failed to gather machine information. CIG service is unable to gather machine information; please check whether the network card is ready.

c. Failed: Communication Failed. CIG service is unable to communicate with the authorizing server; please check the network connection.

d. Failed: Invalid License. The authorizing server is unable to find the register cafe Authkey, an invalid key might be input during installation; please reinstall CIG with a correct Authkey.

e. Failed: License is full. The license is valid, however, the count of the registered computers the same license has reached the max subscription number; please increase the subscription size.

f. Failed: Database Error. The authorizing server encounters a database error; please contact GCA support. g. Checking version information. This is not an error status. It means that the communication between the server and the client begins.

h. Found new version, upgrade in process. This is not an error status. A new version is detected, download starts automatically.

i. Failed to receive version information. Failed to communicate with the downloading server; please check the network connection.

j. Failed to analyze version information. A new version of CIG has been downloaded, however, the file is unrecognized; please contact GCA Support.

k. New version downloaded, but failed to save, make sure the disc is not full. An updated version of CIG has been downloaded; however, it fails to be saved to the disc; please check if the Anti-virus software is preventing the action.

l. Failed to download, please check the network connection. The updater fails to download the updated version of CIG; please check the network connection.

m. Insufficient Memory, unable to download. The updater fails to allocate enough memory to facilitate auto-updating; please check processes running on the computer.

n. Gold Member Privilege is unavailable! The machine don't have gold member privilege, however, the machine is registered successfully. Service is not allocated to this machine by agent/administrator. Please contact your agent/administrator. o. Register refused. The machine fails to register itself with database due to: (1) IP does not match with IP restriction setting for this caf. (2) The version of GarenaCIG installed on this PC is older than the latest version of GarenaCIG installed on another PC within the same caf. (3) The caf shutdown the new registration at present.
