This book gave me a few simple and crucial facts about Impressionism and Monet. Strickland, Carol, and John Boswell. The Annotated Mona Lisa: A Crash Course in Art History, from Prehistoric to Post-modern. Kansas City, Mo: Andrews McMeel, 2007. Print. I used most of my paintings, many quotations, and learned most of the history from all of the different art periods from this book.
