Interrelationship of domains of development:

Avila 7 Concluding Thoughts (5 Points) Write a brief paragraph in which you discuss:
Discuss your overall impression of this assignment.

It was interesting to separate the different domains. Many times when observing a child its just a focus on the whole child and the skills they can do, but it is not often that we can sit and observe each different domain individually. It really has given an insight on the way to write my notes.
Discuss at least 4 significant concepts learned from the assignment. 1. Prosocial behavior- it is important to practice what we feel is important. We need to show children

the actions of how to behave (Martin, Fabes 2009 p.315).

2. Overregularization- I know that I need to repeat the words the children say so they can pick up the

concept of language.
3. I learned how to link my notes to the DRDPs. 4. I learned how to separate the different domains in my observations. Provide an explanation as to how information learned will be used for future growth.

I feel that this assignment will help me with my objective note writing. As writing my notes I kept saying, shes happy, and she is mad. I would have to remind myself that I am not sure what she is feeling, I just know she is smiling. In the future I will be able to write better objective notes.
Provide an action plan with three specific goals based on this assignment 1. I will remember about prosocial and demonstrate prosocial behavior with the children around me and

help them demonstrate the behavior as well.

2. I will take better objective notes to know when the child needs help being scaffold to the next level. 3. I will repeat words and sentences to children if they are using overregularization.
