The reviews have been a little bit of a dissapointment. I have been looking forward to some new releases my favorite series, but I think I was expecting to much because the end result was not what I expeted them to be.

Tristans Lyceum Wolves is already the third book from this fantastic series. The Where the first two books Kades Dark Embrace and Lucas Magic Embrace where about the vampires this book is about werewolves. A big change in this series but sertanly a welcome one for me. And the means she has invented to keep her Human may just be the thing that is Tristans biggest problem. Trying to keep things from him and altogether falling in love! Just as the previous books there is a reason why there has to be a one time only threesome to give this story some extra spice! The only disappointing parts where the abrupt ending and prologue that was not about the main couple anymore. Would have loved to read how they continued their story or would have loved to read something, even a small piece about the previous 2 couples from the first two books! Can only say LOVE IT!! Where can I get my own New Species ?? Moon, Book #10 of the New Species Series contains a surprising storyline. I have read all the books from this series and this is the first one the main characters have had sort of a relation/interaction before the main story begun. Moon is about Dr. Joyce Yards a therapist that was on a highly confidential mission to help the new species when they are just rescued. She is assigned to the very irresistible 466.
466 also later called Moon is a sexy canine/ human who makes it hard for the doctor to keep their relationship professional. Their therapy sessions are growing hotter and hotter with each session till it breaks her up and Joy decides to leave before they can see where their relation can lead. And there is where the real story begins. Joy gets a phone call that Moon has been drugged, by an unknown drugs. his memory shattered. Now hes feral and a dangerous threat to everyone. They ask Joy to help and of course she cant resist. There are no rules now. She is not his therapist anymore. Sex seems to
tame the wild beast in Moon and triggers old memories to help him find his old self. The only thing she can do is help him and she is willing to try anything. Anything! I loved Moon the tension is almost dripping from the pages. Fast paced and hot read. 5 stars! Cover: I think this book dont get enough credit for the stry because of this cover. The cover implice that the main strory line is erotic whyle there is so many more about Moon than just the hot scenes and sexy bodies.

The beginning of this story is just fantastic. It pulls you in this story like no other. Great intro. The characters are strong and realistic and also the world building notewortthly. My favorite character was of course Nixi, she strong and detemined to find the wolves that have killed her parents. With her fun comments and recless behavior a fun character to read about. Her counterpart, Kyden is just fantastic. he;s a typicial alpha male that is just of the right caliber to handle Nexi. Werewolves be Damned is a enjoyable read. with its fast paces scened, action, love and paranormal beings the perfect read for the paranormal romance and Urban fantasy lovers. This is the first book of this series for me but definitely not the last To be continued .

Picture this You are curled in your favorite chair enjoying a quiet read. The book pulls you in. You forget where and who you are. You never want the story to end could be better? Clay, the hero in Hope(less) is the strong, silent type. When I say silent, I mean SILENT. I had so much fun imagining and then writing about him. He was written to be loved, flaws and all. But how do I know Ive done my job? Often, I dont. Every now and again a reader is brave enough to put their applauding (or booing) in a review.

Hello, ladies (and any gents out there) I am so excited to be a part of Paranormal Cravings Blog. Today I am sharing a funny little post I made (with pictures because pictures are fun) on what makes a good heroine. Physical strength What makes a strong I think many of us romance readers heroine?
search for this likable heroine when were searching for books. As a writer, and as one whos been told I write very strong and likeable heroines, I want to raise a question to you all. What makes a strong heroine? Because, while Ive also been praised for writing strong heroines, some readers see that same heroine and call her weak or immature. All of this comes down to ones own opinions and life experiences of course. But, today, as a guest post on the fabulous Paranormal Cravings blog, we are going to dissect the makings of a strong heroine.

As romance booklovin ladies, we tend to analyze our heroes more than the heroines who we follow around in the novel. Now its really easy for us to like or dislike certain heroines because they arent like us. Thats completely understandable and thats also why I search for books with sassy, outspoken women, and strong, business-type women as heroines. I personally dont relate Lets take a dive into as much to mothers, what makes a heroine stories about women in later stages of life, or strong, shall we? stories about teenagers (Im done with that stage of life and would like to keep it that way!). So I have my only little niche that I like.
Now, when I think of physical strength I think of Sarah Connor from Terminator 2: Judgment Day. Sarah may be a character from a movie but she is a great example of physical strength (just look at those muscles). Shes tough, no-nonsense, and can fight if she has too. Other physically strong or even physically capable heroines might be Xhex from JR Wards Black Dagger Brotherhood series or Rippley from Alien. These ladies might get scared, in fact they do, but they embrace that fear and overcome it. Some women dont like this in their romance

A smart character is hard to write. And nobody likes a know it all whether in real life or in a book, so as a writer you have to tip-toe on that line carefully so you dont make your smart character snobby (unless you want him/ her to be). When I think of a smart heroine I think of Dr. Temperance Bones from the TV show Bones.
good at her job which is studying to be a supernatural medical examiner for the police department. She uses her brain and thinks about things before making a decision. Sometimes the outcome can be hilarious to see her working things out, especially as shes mentally cursing the demon whos kidnapped her. Other brainiac characters are Nix from Kresley Coles Immortals After Dark series. Although, Nix may be a bit loony on the mental side. Its still her strength and makes her quite unique! What do you think? Do you like your heroines to be intelligent? Now, of course none of us want a dumb heroine, so when I say intelligent, I mean her main quality is her brain.

Judging by my own collection of novels, Id say yes. Though beauty isnt a requirement and everyone has a different definition of beauty.
She may come off as a normal woman, because maybe we all think were a little bit of each. But sometimes we get that really strange heroine. Shes different. Maybe not in a good way at all, but you will certainly remember her.

think you can have a character with a combination of all the character traits weve already talked about and she may or may not be all that unique.
She is definitely a memorable character with her odd mannerisms. Other quirky heroines may be (again) Nix from Kresley Coles Immortals After Dark series, or Kaylee Frye from the hit TV show Firefly. Firefly has long since been canceled but since it was written by character-driven writer

Joss Whedon, its no wonder Kaylee is a strong heroine. Kaylee Frye is a genius mechanic who can run and fix massive engines on futuristic spaceships. Cool! And shes weird, awkward, shy, and surprisingly bold on some occasions. These characters are so much fun to follow around because they are so different from us. We want to be like them because wed like to be that special. Who are some of your favorite quirky heroines? To conclude Well thats all folks. I hope this got you thinking about heroines and what you like in a heroine, and what you dont like. I must say I left one rather big characteristic out in this article simply because Id end up writing a novel if I didntand that is weaknesses. I personally believe that a heroines weaknesses are a large factor in why we like them. From a woman who cant resist someones pleas for help (even to her own detriment); to a woman who must work hard every day, no stopping her because she has some goal she must obtain. The workaholic, the busybody who snoops and gets into trouble, the lawbreaker who will steal to get what she wants, a liar, a good-girl who goes badthese are all negative traits that work to let us all relate, sympathize, and have a lot of fun watching the heroine get into trouble as the novel goes on! Q: Who is your all-time favorite author? A: I dont think I have just one. I grew up reading Stephen King and Dean Koontz, of course. Once my own book was done, Ive had a blast discovering all the authors out there writing zombie stories. Ive always loved horror, so this has been a fun discovery. Q: What is your writing process? Do you have a standard plan? Must it always be on the same computer? Or do you need some kind of lucky toy or pen before you can begin? A: Im not picky. As a journalist, Im used to deadlines so if a story isnt working right, all I do is slog through it or set it aside a little while if I have time. The one thing that stops me is the beginning of the story has to be right, or as close as possible. Its hard to start otherwise, though its best just to get something down. You can always go back and fix it. Q: What are your writing goals for the future? A: To keep at it. Id like to continue Beccas story and hope the zombie genre doesnt die yet. ha! PROLOGUE: GIRL Z: My Life as a Teenage Zombie, C.A. Verstraete A virus. A freaking virus. Id been sick before, you know, measles, mumpskid stuffbut not really sick. Never like this. This...this couldnt be happening. I tuned back in to the doctors explanationnew diet, pills, blah-blah-blah and let his words fade again into the background. Gone was the golden tan Id nurtured over the summer with tanning cream and hours sunbathing by the pool with one of my cousins. My skin had a weird grayish tone, like Id rubbed myself with fireplace ash. I gazed at my legs, now mottled with strange gray blotches, and my pretty pink toenails peeking out from beneath the sheet. The machine next to me made a frantic beep-beep. I turned and caught my reflection in the metal canister sitting on the table next to the bed. Whimpering, I rubbed a hand over my cheek, wondering at the scaly texture, while at other times I felt almost nothing. Large, deep brown eyes under ebony bangs stared back. I saw a decent nose. Spots. I took in the pinkish patches and my uneven skin tone, which reminded me of those old battleships on the PBS show Id watched with my aunt. For the first time in my sixteen-year-old life I was...ugly. I struck the bed frame over and over, the pain barely registering. The machines whir-click-whir turned into a wail almost louder than mine--beep-beep-beeeeeeep. A nurse in blue scrubs rushed in and tried to reassure me, even as she attempted to keep me immobile on this slab they called a bed. Relax, itll be fine, she said. No, it wont, I yelled, it wont! How could looking like freaking King Tut without his wrappings ever be fine?
