Changes to the environment

Dramatic play Black sheet to make a cave, big pool with hay, leaves sticks, big dinosaur eggs, dinosaurs, rocks, books on dinosaur habitats, dinosaur masks. (The masks will make them look diverse, the books will allow children to see different writings, and the sensory material will allow children to see the different materials cultures use).

Art Paper plates of different shapes, dinosaurs. Pictures of Dinosaurs, feathers, shiny paper, cardboard, and sticks. (The children will be able to use these materials to make a dinosaur according to their own ability. All the dinosaurs will look different and that is appreciating the appearance of each dinosaur. AB, AP Table Toys Puzzles, memory game, dinosaurs, scales. (Each child will be able to play these games to their own ability).

Sand and Water Insta-Snow, leaves, sticks, dinosaurs, fossils, dino eggs, tree bark, paint brushes, tooth brushes, frozen ice with dinosaurs inside. (The different sensory material will allow the children to see the type of materials other cultures use. Using the paint brushes and unfreezing the ice is their ability since they will all have different techniques. CUL, AB Library Corner Dinosaur Spanish and English books. Science books and fantasy books. Flannel pieces. (each of these books and flannel pieces show language, and they have different races as the main characters. LAN, R Music Dinosaur sounds, drums, stompers, dinosaur feet. (The dinosaur sounds will have different diverse sounds of different dinosaurs, the drums sound like a stomping dinosaur. Stomping feet sound like a dinosaur stomping, and adding dinosaur feet so they can walk with dinosaur feet and stomp). AB, CUL, LAN,

AP, LAN, CUL Blocks Dinosaur eggs, dinosaurs, moss, sticks, books, Spanish and English on dinosaurs. (These are all different textures, it is a culture reference to use the different textures. The books will be in two languages)

CUL, LAN Bulletin Boards/Walls Dinosaur pictures, posters, childrens work. (each of the childrens work will be displayed around the classroom. Each child worked on it to the best of their ability, they have different appearance, and they are all from different cultures, since all the dinosaurs and the children who made them are from different cultures). AB Science Center Habitat of a dinosaurs, paper, pencils, colored pencils, dinosaurs, sticks, moss, dinosaur eggs, fossils. (The sensory material is used differently in different cultures, children will experience the feelings the material, each child will use the materials to the best of their abilities, if a child does not understand a material, there will be a teacher who can explain the work in Spanish.
