    By Daily Star Reporter A FIRST wave of strikes in a row over pay and pensions was announced yesterday by two teaching unions.

    The National Union of Teachers and NASUWT have served notice on employers that members in the north west will walk out on June 27. A rolling programme of regional strikes will hit England and Wales over the next few months. NUT General Secretary Christine Blower said: The Government is going down entirely the wrong path for education and teachers.
