Works/Revised rates of Rem/2012, dt. 09/05/2012. * * * ORDER: In response to the reference 1st cited, and in view of the circumstances stated by the affiliated colleges, the University issued orders to implement the following revised rates in connection with conduct of Theory & Practical Lab, Examinations and rates of remuneration, TA & DA to be paid to the External Examiners and remuneration to be paid to the Teaching & Supporting staff. I. For Conduct of Examinations: a. Chief Superintendent per session: b. Invigilator per session (one Invigilator for Every 20 candidates) c. Confidential Invigilator per session (only one per session) d. Ministerial staff (one per session for 100 candidates) e. Peon (one per session for every 100 Candidates) f. Water boy (one per session for every 100 candidates) g. Seating arrangement (per session) (to be distributed among the Staff involved) h. Observer (per session)

a. For conduct of Practical Laboratory Examinations (including paper setting) per Examiner (for two Examiners) Rs. 15/- per candidate (minimum Rs. 150/-) b. Project Viva-Voce B. Tech. (Regular) (For three examiners, one Internal , one Rs. 20/- per candidate External and HOD) (minimum of Rs. 200/-)

III.

Remuneration to supporting staff for conduct of Laboratory Practical Examinations: a. Skilled Assistant (Teaching staff) b. Instructor/Foreman/Mechanic c. Store Keeper/Typist/Office clerk d. Attender/Skilled workman/Cleaner e. Preparation and dissembling the equipment (only for (b) and (d) categories) Rs. 90/- per batch of 10 Rs. 60/- per batch of 10 Rs. 45/- per batch of 10 Rs. 25/- per batch of 10 Extra two sessions per each Lab Exam

IV.

Different practical examinations have to be conducted by different External/Internal Examiners simultaneously or by the same Examiners on different dates. In case an Observer attends for two different Examinations on the same day he is eligible for both the remuneration and only one TA & DA will be paid.
