VARIABLE POWER With nearly twice the field of view of competitive 25x scopes, the Mark 8 3.5-25x56mm sets a new benchmark in performance. Offering the robust, technologically advanced features common to the Mark 8 line, the 8 to 1 erector system offers superb target discretion at high magnification for long-range precision and an expansive field of view at low magnification for quick target acquisition. The ability to optimize the zoom setting for a variety of thermal or night vision equipment is indispensable for the tactical operator. 35mm Maintube U nparalleled windage and elevation adjustment travel, and the ability to bypass the zero-stop in the BDC dial makes zeroing a breeze. VARIABLE ILLUMINATION Reticle T he 3rd generation, 7-position illumination control with positive off between each setting allows operators to match the reticle illumination to the ambient light conditions or tailor settings to night vision devices. M5B2 Elevation Adjustment T he ergonomic, auto-locking adjustments of the CQBSS are upgraded in the Mark 8 3.5-25x56mm to allow 20 Mils of travel in two revolutions. A visible, tactile revolution indicator provides immediate feedback of the dial position in any lighting conditions. The 35mm maintube allows a wide latitude of adjustment to enable shooters to engage targets beyond 1,500 meters while the locking feature makes inadvertent zero shifts a thing of the past.

VARIABLE POWER With a 1.1-8x magnification range, sacrificing precision for field of view is no longer a requirement. The front focal plane reticle is accurate at all magnification settings for the ultimate blend of precision and rapid target acquisition. M5B1 Elevation Adjustment Auto-locking Pinch & Turn adjustments with 0.1 Mil clicks are extremely easy to adjust, yet eliminate accidental adjustment in the field. BDC T he M-TMR and Mil Dot versions come standard with the 5.56mm AA53/ Mk 262 BDC dial ring while the H27-D comes with the 7.62mm M118LR BDC dial ring. Interchangable BDC rings are available for special order. 34mm MAINTUBE U nparalleled windage and elevation adjustment travel, and the ability to bypass the zero-stop in the BDC dial makes zeroing a breeze. VARIABLE ILLUMINATION Eight illumination settings provide optimal reticle contrast with or without night vision, and an off position between intensity settings makes returning to the perfect illumination level nearly immediate. Contract: The United States Marine Corps Heavy Machine Gun Sight System (HMGSS) was designed to increase the accuracy of the Mark 19 Grenade launcher and the M2 .50-caliber Machine Gun. It incorporates Leupold Tactical Optics CQBSS 1.1-8 Heavy Day Optic (HDO). The HDO was developed in response to an urgent requirement from Marine units in Afghanistan to allow better target identification and improve the accuracy of the system when engaging long-distance targets. The HMGSS unique combination of a shock absorbing mount; wide-zoom range day scope; and unique, custom-designed ranging reticle provides a revolutionary level of effectiveness for heavy crew-served weapons. The HDO has been assigned the M521 designation.

A visible, tactile revolution indicator provides immediate feedback of the dial position in any lighting conditions. The M5B2 adjustment allows for engagements beyond 1,500 meters with no inadvertent shift in zero. Front Focal Reticles T he Mark 6 3-18x44mm offers several front focal plane reticle options. The revolutionary CMR-W and H58 reticles answer the needs of tactical and competitive shooters who must quickly engage targets at a variety of unknown distances.
The Mark 6 3-18x44mm sets a new standard for high performance in a small, lightweight package. With a length of just 12 inches and weighing in at 23.6oz, this optic is 20% shorter and 20% lighter and sets a new standard for riflescope performance. In addition, the Mark 6 series offers stateof-the-art features that are common throughout Leupolds Tactical product line. The CM-R2 was designed to allow users to successfully estimate range and engage targets with greater flexibility than generally possible with other reticle styles. Its 0.5 MOA dot surrounded by a 5.0 MOA horseshoe make it ideal for 3-gun competition and close-quarter battle scenarios. Two intensity settings are also compatible with night-vision equipment. A new off position between each intensity setting lets you easily turn off illumination and snap it back on right where you left it. No more cycling through all the settings to find the perfect one. THE OLED ADVANTAGE

A major advancement for the RX-1000i platfrom is the significant improvement in light transmission and resolution. Multiple Ballistic settings

RX rangefinders are the only rangefinders to provide accurate aiming information matched to the performance of your rifle. By calculating the incline, line of sight range to the target, and a projectiles ballistics, your RX provides the correct equivalent horizontal distance for precise shooting on an incline. In other words, aim using the True Ballistic Range, not the line of sight range. You can also get this data as an MOA adjustment or a holdover point. The 8-40 shoulder screws are slightly stronger than the standard 6-48 screws. 8-40 screws are 41% stronger for this application than the 6-48s. All bases can be applied exactly the same as they have been in the past using the included 6-48 shoulder screw. These bases will also fit Winchester PBR, Remington SuperMagnum, HS Precision and other 8-40 rifles without modification.
This system employs a slot and spline design, and comes in 1-Piece and 2-Piece configurations. Mark 4 bases accept Mark 4 rings, cross-slot rings, and QRW / PRW rings. Integral Mounting Systems Designed specifically for tactical use, our IMS system is available in Mark 1, Mark 2 Mark 4, Mark 6 and Mark 8 configurations, and features a monolithic, cantilever design that is strong and durable under the most intense conditions. The integral base/ring (formed from one piece of bar stock) affixes securely to the picatinny rail of most AR and other tactical rifles. The one-piece design provides for easier mounting as ring spacing is pre-set, and more accurate return-to-zero as you only need to mark one location on the rail.

If yours doesnt, let the Leupold Custom Shop put 50+ years of scopesmithing experience to work, adding custom Bullet Drop Compensation (BDC) dials to your Leupold riflescope. Fill out our ballistics worksheet (available at www. leupold.com) with your ballistics data, and we will, in turn, create a precision laser-engraved dial that allows you to adjust for bullet impact at extremely long range. The positive click adjustment dials are made of aircraft-grade aluminum, with the appropriate ranges clearly and accurately laser-engraved on the dial. Simply determine range to the target then adjust to the corresponding mark on the elevation dial to achieve startling long-range precision. In addition to the precision laser-engraving, Leupold adjustment dials are double O-ring sealed against the moisture, dust, and sand youll encounter in the field. They also give you superior repeatable adjustment, virtually free of accuracy-degrading backlash or overtravel.

The 300 Blackout reticle is an extension of the CM-R 2 reticle line made in partnership with Advanced Armament Corporation for their new weapon system. This reticle provides the shooter with a ballistic solution that seamlessly transfers between subsonic and supersonic ammunition, as indicated respectively by a tortoise and a hare. The Blackout reticle is comprised of a 0.5 MOA dot surrounded by a 5.0 MOA circle for a perfect combination of precision and speed. The hash marks on the horizontal stadia can be used for leading targets moving at 5, 10, and 15 mph respectively. The tic marks have been moved to each side of the vertical stadia, with the left side used for the subsonic round in 50 meter increments and the right for the supersonic round in 100 meter increments. For best results, the Blackout reticle should be zeroed at 200 yards using supersonic ammunition. Once zeroed at 200 yards, the center point of the reticle also serves as a 50 meter aiming point for the supersonic rounds.

The CMR-W reticle is a natural progression of the very popular CM-R 2 reticle launched by Leupold in 2011. Customers requested the inclusion of wind holds into the ballistic reticle, as well as additional ranging features. The CMR-W reticle is comprised of a 0.5 MOA dot surrounded by a 5.0 MOA circle for a perfect combination of precision and speed. There are two MIL scales included into the reticle - hash marks on the horizontal stadia along with the vertical bar on the left side above the main horizontal line. These elements can be used for both calculating distances and measuring objects downrange. The tic marks on the vertical stadia serve a dual purpose, allowing the user to quickly estimate the distance to 18 targets while serving as precise holdover points for targets between 300 and 1200 meters. The horizontal bars down the left side of the reticle are also 18 long at distance, and additionally there are 4x4 squares located 12 above this horizontal line to allow for additional range estimation options. For best results, the CMR-W reticle should be zeroed at 200 meters, allowing the center point of the reticle to also serve as a 50 meter aiming point.

Estimating range using the Circle Dot reticle is simple. Place the target inside the circle of the reticle. At 3x the diameter equates to 6 feet in height at 100 yards. At 200 yards, 6 feet is measured from the dot to the edge of the circle.

Reticle configurations
Much like the SPR reticle, the CM-R2 was designed to allow users to successfully estimate range and engage targets with greater flexibility than generally possible with other reticle styles. This reticle also preserves the instinctive fire capabilities of the Leupold Circle Dot reticle in short range, low magnification engagements typical of 3-gun competition and Close Quarter Battle in the 21st century. This unique blend of capabilities allows the various optics platforms equipped with this reticle to perform equally well in open desert, heavy cover, or the urban environment. The CM-R2 reticle is comprised of a 0.5 MOA dot surrounded by a 5.0 MOA circle for a perfect combination of precision and speed. The hash marks on the horizontal stadia can be used for leading targets moving at 5, 10, and 15 mph respectively. The tic marks on the vertical stadia serve a dual purpose, allowing the user to quickly estimate the distance to 18 targets while serving as precise holdover points for targets between 300 and 900 meters. For best results, the CM-R2 reticle should be zeroed at 200 meters using M855 5.56mm NATO/.223 Remington ammunition producing a muzzle velocity of 2810 fps with 62 grain FMJ bullets. Once zeroed at 200 meters, the center point of the reticle also serves as a 50 meter aiming point.

The Tactical Milling Reticle expands on existing Mil Dot reticles by using various sized and spaced hash marks on the vertical and horizontal stadia for increased ranging precision, accuracy, and quick one-meter range estimating reference points. All Mil Dot calculations are TMR compatible. To use the system, simply determine the range to the target using the mil system, then, use the corresponding aiming point that is matched to your cartridge to engage the target.
Special Purpose Reticle With the Special Purpose Reticle, you can engage targets with greater precision at longer ranges than generally possible with other reticle styles, yet also use it for instinctive, close-range/low-magnification engagements. It also features several methods of accurate range estimation, using the height or width of the target as a guide.
