Its true that 49% of Total Movies releasing per year in Hindi Language is either a Copycat or a Remake. While this % is lowest in Malayalam Language (1% - Remake and 11% - Copycat - Scenes or Characters), While in Tamil (1 or Less % of movies is from Foreign Language, while there are 16% Official Remakes from Hindi, Malayalam, Kannada or Telugu), and Telugu ( 3% from a Foreign Language and 19% official Remakes from Hindi, Tamil, Malayalam or Kannada). and in Kannada Official Remakes are very high (26% - and around 65% of TOP Actors movies are a Remake of Any of the other Indian Language Movie, mainly from Tamil and Malayalam).
