Imaging & Publishing Support would like to offer a proposal to provide document conversion services to
the Kean Commission. From our discussion with your staff we understand the Commission's needs to
be as follows:
• Provide support in coordination with DCI Admin to pick-up and deliver documents and i
products from CIA's IPS Building and Commission Headquarters at 2100 K. Street ;
• Take receipt of source documents from the Commission that have been catalogued, named, i
and separated using bar code sheets from Document Strategies OBI software. The typical ,
source document will be one or two sided 8.5 X 11 inch copy delivered without any binding
(staples, tape binding, GBC, etc.). \ Scan the sour
ROMs containing OCR files and black & white .tif images of each page/image of the source
document. ?

• Accurately label the CD-ROM with respect to DOC ID numbers or Bates numbering (customer I
to decide) and the appropriate classification.
• Return source documents to the Commission Headquarters, 2100 K Street, in the same ,
condition and packaging as originally provided.
IPS is well positioned and eager to answer the above-stated requirements and provide you the timely,
accurate and secure support your Commission requires. We propose that::
• The OCR and image scanning costs will be priced on a sliding scale using total volume
discounts:
