Points to Pray for the VBS

1. Each kid who will be attending – regular attendance all the days, rapport with the peers
and teachers, enthusiasm, participation and above all conviction to practice what is
learnt.
2. The Sunday school teachers – the group they will be handling, wisdom to plan and
teach, dedication, health and safety, free from personal problems that cloud the mind
thereby thwarting the effectiveness of the program.
3. The Headmistress and Director – to effectively plan, coordinate, organize and mobilize
resources; create a pleasant environment and a well structured event, eliminating flaws
to the maximum, endear themselves peaceably with all.
4. The Volunteers to arrive on time and give their best participation all the days.
5. Pray for Parents - to give their time and efforts in completing the home assignments,
help nourish the kids as they begin to practice what they’ve learnt.
6. For each day’s session to be presented well and received well by the children
a. Session 1: Go Lead – Judges 7:1-22
b. Session 2: Go Risk – Esther 4-7
c. Session 3: Go Tell – Matthew 27:27 – 54;
28:1-10
d. Session 4: Go Obey – Acts 5: 17 - 32
e. Session 5: Go Serve – Acts 9: 1-19
7. Dedicate the hall for the glory of God. Everybody
who comes in should be blessed and transformed.
8. Environment – the weather, proper functioning of
each equipment

volunteers
