Collage Assignment (Lesson 8)

Description:
This collage serves more than one purpose. First, it is an assessment of your abilities to make basic alterations to an image. These are things such as cropping, resizing, adjustments, etc. Second, this project will be used to compile a personal inventory. Not all of the images you use need to be taken by you, but it is required that some be your own original work. You will write a short rationale explaining the significance of the images you used. Think about any of your beliefs, passions, etc that would coincide with a potential career in photography or digital image processing. I will also have you pick out some classes from the COM cluster, or other, that would compliment and further your interest in photography and/or digital image manipulation. Finally, you will be required to present your collage and explain the choices you made to the class. This is a mandatory presentation and you will be assessed based on your presentation skills in relation to the curriculum. You will have three classes to complete this assignment. It is to be deposited on your blog upon completion. Remember, you may also leave feedback on each others work through the blog as discussion marks. Be sure to explain yourself well; one sentence posts do not count. Actually engage one another in conversation. Collage- /10
