Layout of workshop
The different shop must be laid in such manner that the work progresses in forward direction as far as with the shortest possible route. Prevent unnecessary handling and transportation of material and spare parts required for maintenance.

Store
Supply of spare parts must be maintained regularly through store organisation. Proper classification for identifying each machine and its particulars along with spare particulars should be in stores. Item categorization E.g. mechanical, electrical, hydraulic and so forth
