SALARY: $42,000.00 /Year OPENING DATE: 06/27/13 CLOSING DATE: Continuous POSITION SUMMARY: The Department of Geography/Geology at the University of Nebraska-Omaha invites applications for a Coordinator (July 2013) to manage a cartography, remote sensing and GIS lab and assist with student research, applied projects and outreach activities. ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: Manage a cartography, remote sensing and GIS laboratory, and assist with student research, applied projects and outreach activities. The individual will maintain and develop databases for research and general instructional purposes, administer file servers, coordinate with college and university information technology services, maintain computing resources for research and grants, supervise student workers on grants and research projects, and maintain a departmental map collection. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Masters in Geography or related discipline.
