There are many different types of music in the world today. Why do we need music?

Is the traditional music of a country more important than the international music
that is heard every where now a days?

Every one needs music for recreation. Music is a very creative hobby.

Many good musicians play music as a part of their profession many play for the
sake of hobby. Music creates enthusiasm among soldiers and sports persons that is
highly rewarding.

Music in circus makes animals to show several tricks correctly. Many acrobats are
able to perform acrobatics safely and correctly with the help of music. Such a
good performance is not possible in the absence of Music.

When some big celebrity passes away, on the all the channels of television and
radio; a sad tune of music is played and that communicates the sad happening. In a
way music is a means of
communication too.

World comprises of many countries and in every country there are several sects.
Every country has its national anthem that is popular and well known to the entire
population. Besides that, type of music differs from sect to sect. The music well-
known only within members of one particular sect is called traditional music or
folk music. The music
known to many sects of that particular country can be called broadly music of that
country.

Similarly music that is popular and known to many countries can be termed as
International Music. Like Western Music, Rock-n-roll,Rumba-Samba, Disco, Fox-
trot,Jazz, Pop, Light music, Classical Music and many more. Obviously these will
be more popular and enjoyable as it is understood at a macro level by huge masses.

Music is for the enjoyment and the music that can be very well understood and
enjoyed is the best music. Hence traditional music is more important than the
international music.

However for entertaining cosmopolitan groups, International music shall be ideal.
