To "A" or to "SA", that is the question You are correct 100%.

Pipe can be marked ASTM A 106; API 5L and ASME SA 106. As long as the spec calls for 1 of the 3 it can be used for any of the 3. The MTR'S for the pipe will reflect the same marking and also tell you which spec. it was ordered to. Later, Skip ASME/API 510/NBIC
