Some people believe that if teachers want to be successful in teaching, they should have years of experience in classroom.

While it is true that practicing is really important for having a great performance in classroom, it may not always be right to say that experience is everything that teachers need to be good. Not only is it right to spend time teaching but also studying and keep recycling their own minds and invest in what the teaching world has the best to offer. Teachers are good in what they do when they know how to balance these two sides: practice and theory. From my perspective it seems to be an excellent idea studying for Celta due to the fact that it is an international certificate so, having taken the Cambridge course, teachers will be able to teach internationally. Personally, I feel that having studied English Language at University and taken the TKT is not enough. Teachers who have this career as a pleasure think that knowledge is always welcome. The Celta course will help me to consolidate my performance in classroom, to improve my English teaching practice and it will give me a more solid basis when it is referred to teaching-learning process. It is important to say that Celta will help to lead teachers for a promotion or a better job. I can honestly say that so many things need to be improved in classroom, teaching talk time and student talk time need to be reviewed especially when I teach basic students. I reckon that I need to know how to calculate and use my time correctly and get more confidence in class. Taking everything into consideration I do believe that I could be part of the Celta course because the will of improving professionally and being a successful teacher always comes to my mind.
