This is my 10th year of teaching, I dont think Ive been a real teacher until now

I was so much more prepared for uni than my friends from other schools, I felt like Hawker Maths had prepared me so well for uni not necessarily in the subjects but in teaching me how to learn, how to manage my time, how to take responsibility for my learning, cause at Uni I was thrown in and left to my own devices, no teachers chased me or followed up with me so Hawker really was the perfect middle ground all that towards independence but still supported and scaffolded.(m-AP)

Im so appreciative of this approach, it treats all students equally my son is no longer in the dumb class, he is just in a maths class. His confidence has shot through the roof
