Because we love wood, we want to share this love with you by producing furniture for people who share our passion for wood and top quality furniture. Because we love wood, we collaborate with the best regional and global designers who are familiar with our technological advantages and who know how to convey the expertise into a vision that is worthy of this precious material. Because we love wood, our main production tools are the hands of our artisans, masters who daily turn designers visions into unique handicraft. Wir lieben Holz, weil wir es unser ganzes Leben lang kennen. Vom Wald, in dem wir als Kinder spielten, bis zu dem Beruf, dem wir unser ganzes Leben gewidmet haben. Weil wir Holz lieben, wollen wir diese Liebe durch unsere Mbel mit Menschen teilen, welche dieselbe Leidenschaft fr Holz und Spitzenmbel haben. Weil wir Holz lieben, arbeiten wir mit den besten Designern aus unserer Region und weltweit zusammen, die wissen, wie wir unsere technologischen Vorteile und unser Wissen in eine Vision umwandeln knnen, die dieses edlen Materials wrdig ist. Zato to volimo drvo, elimo tu ljubav podijeliti proizvodei namjetaj za ljude koji dijele nau strast prema drvetu i vrhunskom namjetaju. Zato to volimo drvo, suraujemo s najboljim regionalnim i svjetskim dizajnerima koji znaju nae tehnoloke prednosti i koji znaju znanje pretoiti u viziju dostojnu tog plemenitog materijala. Wood and life are inextricably connected, and wood is literally life to us. Therefore, we use solid wood from renewable resources in our production, only environmentally-friendly materials for treatment, natural oils and wax that emphasize the luxurious and organic beauty of wood texture and that enable it to breathe naturally. This emphasizes the natural colour diversity, while the use of harmful chemical substances for wood treatment is avoided by using vinyl-based glue. We insist that, at the end of the production process, the furniture that adorns your living environment is as natural as the wood from which it has originated.

Holz und Leben sind unzertrennlich miteinander verbunden und fr uns ist Holz buchstblich unser Leben. Deshalb verwenden wir in der Herstellung Massivholz aus erneuerbaren Quellen und bei der Bearbeitung nur natrliche und umweltvertrgliche Materialien, natrliche le und Wachse, welche die luxurise und organische Schnheit der Textur des Holzes hervorheben, und ihm ein natrliches Atmen ermglichen. So betonen wir die natrliche Vielfltigkeit der Farben, und durch die Verwenung biologischer Leime vermeiden wir die Verwendung schdlicher chemischer Holzschutzprodukte. Wir bestehen darauf, dass am Ende des Herstellungsprozesses die Mbel, die Ihren Lebensraum schmcken, genauso natrlich sind wie das Holz aus dem sie entstanden sind.

Drvo i ivot neraskidivo su povezani, a nama je drvo, doslovno, ivot. Zato u proizvodnji koristimo masivno drvo iz obnovljivih izvora, a pri obradi samo ekoloke materijale, prirodna ulja i vosak koji istiu raskonu i organsku ljepotu strukture drveta te mu omoguavaju prirodno disanje. Time je naglaena prirodna raznolikost boja, a koritenjem ljepila na bazi vinila izbjegnuta je upotreba tetnih kemijskih sredstava za obradu drveta. Inzistiramo na tome da na kraju proizvodnog procesa namjetaj, koji krasi va ivotni prostor, bude jednako prirodan kao i drvo od kojeg je nastao.

We give our wood only into the hands of those designers who share our love of wood. Our plant and our artisans are equipped and trained to offer designers as much freedom and options as possible in order for them to realize their vision. Further more we encourage the designers to create each piece with their own artistic signature insisting that every such piece is worthy of the precious material it was made from, thus conveying our philosophy of love of wood.

Unser Holz kommt ausschlielich in die Hnde von Designern, die unsere Liebe zu Holz teilen. Unser Betrieb und unsere Meister sind extra dafr ausgestattet und ausgebildet, den Kreativen maximale Freiheit und Mglichkeiten zu bieten, damit diese ihre Visionen umsetzen knnen. Wir bestehen darauf und ermutigen sie, dass jedes von ihnen geschaffene Stck ihre knstlerische Unterschrift trgt, die des edlen Materials, aus dem sie gemacht wurden, wrdig ist, und dass sie auf diese Weise unsere Philosophie der Liebe zu Holz bertragen.

Na pogon i artisani opremljeni su i obueni tako da kreativcima prue maksimalnu slobodu i mogunost da svoju viziju pretoe u djelo. Insistiramo i ohrabrujemo ih u tome da svaki komad koji osmisle nosi njihov umjetniki potpis dostojan plemenitog materijala od kojeg je izraen prenosei na taj nain filozofiju ljubavi prema drvetu.

In 2009 we founded the company ARTECO Wood Technology Center with the idea to make the company the driving force of a new movement in BosniaHerzegovinas wood industry. The wood industry has always been B-Hs leading industry, but primarily due to the export of raw material. As a unique technological centre for the wood-processing industry, Arteco aims to reverse this trend, providing infrastructure and expertise in design, prototype production, work on state-of-the-art CAD machinery, woodwork machinery, finishing, preparation, raw material drying and help in the export of final wood-processing products. The company was set up in collaboration with the Excellence in Innovation project, supported by the USAID (United States Agency for International Development) and the Norwegian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

Im Jahr 2009 grndeten wir die Firma ARTECO Wood Technology Center mit der Idee, eine neue Welle in der Holzindustrie in Bosnien-Herzegowina auszulsen. Die Holzindustrie war schon immer der fhrende Industriezweig in Bosnien-Herzegowina, allerdings primr als Exporteur von Rohstoffen. Arteco - als ein einzigartiges Technologie-Zentrum fr die Holzverarbeitungsindustrie - versucht, diesen Trend umzukehren, und die Infrastruktur und Wissen auf dem Gebiet des Designs, der Prototypherstellung, Arbeit mit modernen CAD-Maschinen, Holzverarbeitungsmaschinen, der Endbearbeitung, der Vorbereitung, dem Trocknen des Rohmaterials, sowie Hilfe beim Export der Endprodukte der Holzverarbeitung zu bieten. Die Firma ist entstanden in Zusammenarbeit mit dem Projekt Excellence in Innovation, welches von USAID (United States Agency for International Development) und dem Norwegischen Auenministerium untersttzt wird.

2009. godine osnovali smo tvrtku ARTECO Wood Technology Center s idejom da upravo ta tvrtka bude pokreta novog vala u drvnoj industriji Bosne i Hercegovine. Drvna industrija je uvijek bila vodea industrijska grana u BiH, no primarno kao izvoznik sirovine. Arteco kao jedinstveni tehnoloki centar za drvno-preraivaku industriju nastoji tu tendenciju preokrenuti te pruiti infrastrukturu i znanje na podruju dizajna, izrade prototipa, rada na suvremenim CAD strojevima, strojevima za obradu drveta, zavrne obrade, pripreme, suenja sirovina te pomo pri izvozu zavrnih drvno-preraivakih proizvoda. Tvrtka je nastala u suradnji s projektom Excellence in Innovation koji je podran od strane USAID (United States Agency for International Development) i Ministarstva vanjskih poslova kraljevine Norveke.

process We treat walnut, cherry, pear, elm and acacia wood only with superheated steam to reach an ideal color with an accentuated texture without jeopardizing the structure and ecological values of the wood. Wood treated this way, as well as oak, ash and maple wood, is prepared for natural drying in covered, ventilated storage facilities at carefully selected geographic locations best suited for natural drying until a critical moisture level is reached appropriate for the continued drying in computer-controlled chambers operating under conventional and vacuum systems using stateof-the-art wood drying software. We store wood dried in this manner under conditions identical to the living conditions of the people for whom the furniture is made. What follows next is the selection of wood from the storage facility and its cutting to the desired lengths and widths, machine processing and gluing into boards, drying and acclimatization. With precise machine processing, the wood is then prepared for assembling the end product, the cutting and cropping of the completed boards or elements in a traditional manner and through the use of a 5-axis Homag CNC machine. The final production stages are assembling and finishing work. For the finishing work we use natural oils, soaps, wax and varnish. These substances are mutually acceptable, i.e. they can be applied together to a given surface. The use of these substances (or the combination of the same) on dried wood ensures a longer lifespan, preserves its naturalness and improves the visual wood features color, texture, etc.

proces Wir bearbeiten Walnuss-, Kirsch-, Birnen-, Ulmen- und Akazienholz ausschlielich mit berhitztem Dampf, um die beste Holzfarbe mit betonter Textur zu erzielen, und um dabei nicht die Struktur und die kologischen Merkmale des Holzes zu gefhrden. Auf diese Weise behandeltes Holz, wie z.B.Eiche, Esche und Ahorn, bereiten wir fr das Trocknen auf natrlichem Weg in berdachten und ventilierten Lagern vor. Dies geschieht in besonders ausgewhlten geographischen Lokalitten mit den besten Bedingungen fr natrliches Trocknen. Hier erreicht das Holz einen kritischen Feuchtigkeitsgehalt, um weiter in mit modernster Holztrocknungs-Software, computergesttzten Trockenkammern, die auf konventionelle Weise und Vakuumsystemen arbeiten, zu trocknen. So getrocknetes Holz lagern wir unter Bedingungen, die nahezu identisch sind mit den Bedingungen der Lebensrume der Kunden, fr deren Mbel wir das Holz verwenden. Danach folgen die Auswahl des Holzes aus dem Lager und das Zuschneiden der gewnschten Lngen und Breiten, die maschinelle Verarbeitung und das Kleben zu Platten, das Trocknen und die Akklimatisierung. Mit prziser maschineller Verarbeitung wird das Holz fr die Zusammenstellung der Endprodukte vorbereitet. Letztendlich erfolgt das Zuschneiden und Stutzen der fertigen Platten oder Elemente auf traditionelle Art und mithilfe einer 5-achsigen CNC-Maschine der Marke Homag. Die letzten Schritte der Produktion sind Zusammenstellung und Endverarbeitung. Hierzu benutzen wir natrliche le, Seifen, Wachs und Lacke. Die angefhrten Mittel sind gegenseitig vertrglich, d.h. sie drfen zusammen auf bestimmten Flchen verwendet werden. Durch die Anwendung dieser Mittel (oder deren Kombination) auf dem getrockneten Holz gewhrleisten wir eine sehr lange Lebensdauer, behalten die Natrlichkeit bei und verbessern sthetische

Osueno drvo skladitimo u uvjetima identinim uvjetima stanovanja ljudi kojima se i radi namjetaj od tog drveta. Potom slijedi selekcija drva iz skladita suhe daske i njegovo krojenje na eljene duine i irine, strojna obrada i ljepljenje u ploe, suenje i aklimatizacija. Preciznom strojnom obradom drvo se potom priprema za montau gotovog proizvoda, srezivanje i tucovanje gotovih ploa ili elemenata na tradicionalan nain i upotrebom 5 - osnog CNC stroja marke Homag. Zadnje faze proizvodnje su montaa i zavrna obrada. Pri zavrnoj obradi koristimo prirodna ulja, sapune, vosak i lak. Navedena sredstva za zavrnu obradu meusobno su prihvatljiva, odnosno zajedno se mogu primjeniti na datu povrinu. Primjenom ovih sredstava (ili njihove kombinacije) na osueno drvo osiguravamo dui vijek trajanja, zadravamo prirodnost te poboljavamo estetska svojstva - boju, teksturu itd.
