Scope of Work in Security Services.

1. Varsed Security & Detective Services undertakes to provide fool proof total
security arrangements at your premises. Which includes creation of a security tension
free environment within your premises, maintenance of access control regulation of entry
in premises, protection of all company assets, surveillance and crises management?

2 Varsed Security & Detective Services will ensure that the security personnel so
provided are fully conversant with the job of Security, Fire Fighting and Vigilance etc.

3. That Varsed Security & Detective Services will furnish the particulars viz. Name,
Fathers Name, Age, Permanent Address etc., of all the Party of 1st part one week prior to
commencement of the contract..

4. Varsed Security & Detective Services will be responsible to maintain documents of

all the statutory and non statutory obligations of labor laws applicable in the area under
the local Shops and Commercial Establishment Act.

5. Varsed Security & Detective Services shall comply with all Rules and Regulation
regarding Safety and Security of their men and shall have to arrange for Insurance etc.
for their employees at their cost and your company will indemnify you, in case of any
mishap to their employees.

6. That the personnel engaged by you will be under direct supervision and control of
your management.

7. Varsed security & Detective Services shall not sub-contract the job assigned to them
without your prior written permission. .

8. Varsed Security & Detective Services shall maintain a proper record of their
employees posted at your premises and shall maintain their attendance in the Muster roll
prescribed under law.

9. Varsed Security & Detective Services shall be responsible for the discipline and
conduct as well as for quality of work done by the employees employed by them for
fulfillment of our agreement..

10.. That in case the employees of Varsed Security & Detective Services do not attend
the work at any time for whatsoever reasons, we shall make alternative arrangements so
as to enable the work to be done satisfactorily at no extra cost to you.
11. Varsed Security & Detective Services will ensure proper security and safety of men
and material and property belonging to you.

12. That any liability arising out of Municipal, State or Central Government, Labour
laws & regulations such as payment of wages act, P.F. Act, Workmen compensation Act,
Contract Labour Act, Factories Act and Minimum Wages Act etc. will be entirely our
responsibility part and you will not be responsible for any such liability.
13. Varsed Security & Detective Services shall provide complete Security measures at
the place and through out the duration as prescribed under this Agreement each day by
changing the persons in rotation or replacement. The Security Guards provided by the
Party of 2nd part shall be reporting to the officer authorized by the Party of 1st part for this
purpose at the location of duty.

14. .That the Security measures to be provided Varsed Security & Detective Services
shall also include Fire Fighting assistance but they will not be responsible for any losses
due to Fire or Accident caused to your property.

15. Manager (Operations) from Varsed Security & Detective Services will visit the site
once in a month and Field Officers at least twice weekly.

Operating Instructions to Varsed Security & Detective Services (P) Ltd

16. Responsibilities. It must be clearly understood that Security Services Provider

is responsible to assume these responsibilities on behalf of Varsed Security & Detective
Services (P) Ltd. Their Security Officers must report to site Facility / Property Managers
being their prime responsibility for carrying out their duties, as well. All Supervisors and
above will be interviewed by the site Property / Facility Manager before being positioned
at the site.. Overall, for the Security Service Provider there must be no security lapse for
the entire duration of duties at the site.

17 Accountability.

(a) Each and every guard must be made responsible and accountable for duties at site.
(b) Post wise deployment must be made and the guard briefed daily on his charter of
duties and confirmed in writing by post orders for each and every individual.
(c) No guard will be allowed to roam around without briefing by the Supervisor on his
charter of duties for the day.
(d) New guards will not be posted at sensitive locations.
(e) Post wise turnover of guards will not be done before one month.
(f) Manpower attrition rate will be kept at not more than 5 % for the entire tenure of
service.
 18 Charter of Duties.

(a) Proper Handing / Taking Over of duties, equipment on personal charge, furnitures
and fixtures will be ensured at all places. Briefing will be carried out together by outgoing
and incoming incumbents, fifteen minutes before commencement of duties in the
presence of the Supervisor and records maintained in writing.
(b) Each and every guard must be conversant with his duties and the areas of
responsibility.
(c) Management and disposal of visitors, staff and contractor’s labour.
(d) Mail, messages and material / equipment movement control.
(e) Manner of patrolling (as opposed to loitering around) , discreet surveillance and
reporting procedures in the vicinity of site.
(f) Access Control and verification of identity cards and passes.
(e) Communications on telephone and walkie-talkie.
(h) Conversant with clients / WPM Security SOP , list of emergency telephone Nos and
salient aspects of all local rules and regulations.
(i) Report writing and investigation of petty crimes and knowledge of IPC.
(j) Keys management.
(k) Fire drills, building evacuation plans, fire and life safety policies, bomb threats and
terrorist acts.
(l) Sound public relations and customer friendly behaviour.
(m) All guards will be in possession of a pocket notebook and pen at all times. Cost to
be borne by the Service Provider.
(n) All kinds of training, including on job training , on communications such as walkie
talkie etc, specialized training on fire safety will be arranged at your cost.

19. First Aid Kit. You will maintain a first aid kit box for use by your staff in emergencies within
the premises, at the cost to be borne by you. Details of contents of this kit are available with the
Facility / Property Manager.

20 Channel of Communications. You will observe proper channel of communications

and will not contact the client for payments during the currency of the LOI.

21. Dress. The following dress code for Security staff is to be followed. Any
deviations will be brought to notice of Security Advisor before the agreement is signed.
(a) Uniform shirt and trouser with leather / web belt, epaulettes, Varsed and Service
Provider logos, embroidered name plate on Velcro and lanyard with whistle as
appropriate.
(b) Scarf / tie.
(c) Cummer band with flaps & Leather belt will be worn by security guards on duties
inside buildings and for ceremonials duties.
(d) Peak caps / berets with cap badge as appropriate.
(e) Black Oxford toe shoes with black socks.
(f) Winter and monsoon clothing as appropriate.
