LESSON 1

Narcotics are drugs that relieve pain and induce sleep by depressing the central nervous system. Medically, they are used as potent pain killers, cough depressants and active components of anti diarrhea preparations. The effects of narcotic drugs are drowsiness, changes in mood, apathy, lethargy and unconsciousness. These drugs are high potential for abuse.

4. Heroin
