In reviewing the technical and visual aspects of the page, I would recommend this site to a fellow educator. All of the information is clear, visible and easy to navigate. The author is the National Center for Family Literacy and provided contact information that is very easy to find. The site provides links to awards and recognitions from reputable companies such as Time for Kids and USA Today. Overall, Wonderopolis would be a recommended site for educators because it provides meaningful information that is easy to read and find.

Looking at all of the data you have collected above while evaluating the site, explain why or why not this site is (or is not) valid for your purpose. Include the aspects of technical content, authenticity, authority, bias, pedagogy, and subject content.
The educational website Wonderopolis is a valid site for my purpose. The technical content is visible, clear and easy to navigate. The site provides links to awards and recognitions from reputable companies such as Time for Kids and USA Today. In evaluating the content I found that the sources are reliable and the information is relevant and current. Although I could not find an explicit date of when the site was created or updated, I did find a link with a paragraph about the authors of the page and that it was started in 2010 and received awards in 2011 which indicates that the information is up to date. The authenticity of the page is valid and the author provides links for contact, as well as information on companies and sites that recognized the website as a good educational source. After completing a command search, I found that other experts in the field recognize Wonderopolis, even Verizon Wireless provides a cell phone application for students and parents to evolve teachable moments any time, any place. The fact that Wonderopolis is a .org website indicates that the information is provided by an organization and was most likely created for either a non-profit organization, school, open-source project, or community. The multi-disciplinary content that aligns to Common Core State Standards (CCSS), the STEM Educational Quality Framework, and Blooms Digital Taxonomy which adheres to research based principles of teaching. Not only does the site provide links to professional teaching standards but it also provides first hand educational accounts and additional resources in a link called Educator Sandbox which serves as a teacher blog of experiences with Wonderopolis. Altogether, the lack of bias, sources of information and pedagogy, credibility and overall subject matter allow me to conclude that Wonderopolis is a reputable site that is valid for my purpose of education.
