Dear Madam,

We are basically working for the healthcare of

underprevileged children in Chennai, India by working
with Orphanages, Slums, ICDS centres & Corporation,
Government & Government aided schools of Chennai
through Mafoifoundation by name EKAM -ONENESS
community pediatric health project.

We are also happy to inform you that Ekam community

pediatric health project, has been changed into a
Public private partnership model by joining hands with
the government health depatment.

Institute of Child Health (ICH), Egmore which is a

Government Children's hospital has inaugurated the
project on Nov 14th, 2008.
We have started working in the Cancer children ward,
PICU- Pediatric Intensive Care Unit Pediatric Surgical
Ward & NICU- Neonatal Intensive Care Unit by bringing
in more private organisations to upgrade the ward. Once
a model is created then it will be extended to all
other wards in the hospital gradually so that the
entire hospital is upgraded.

We thank you very much for your initiative to support

the children referred from Madhuranthakam villages.

Herewith sending you the referrals as per our

telephonic discussion.

We shall sign an MOU within 2 weeks.

Bills will be paid within a month of receiving the

bills.

We request you to support this cause as it would help a

lot of poor & needy chilldren.

EKAM's aim is to complement the existing Government

system and not replace it .
Ultimately no child should be refused of health care
because of financial constraints, no parent should feel
guilty of not able to give adequate health care & no
doctor or hospital should feel guilty of refusing
patients because of financial constraints.
