UNDERSTANDING THE SKELETAL SYSTEM

Milk makes stronger our skeletal system, which is formed of BONES and JOINTS. BONES: Are rigid structures that give support that give streght to the body and protection to the organs

JOINTS: Are the areas where bones meet, and the majority of them permit a little bit of movement. LIGAMENTS also belong to the joints which connect the bones to each other.

THE FUNCTION OF THE SKELETAL SYSTEM

_They protect some important organs like the brain, heart and lungs from injures. _They support because they are the pillar of our bodies. They support the weight of the rest of the body and give it shape. _ They allow us to move because bones work with muscles to allow the body to move around.
