Greetings! PRTESOL Central Chapter is having its half day conference. We are interested in having you as the speaker and facilitator in a panel to conduct a discussion in which you will inform and serve as an advisor. The theme of the conference is: Education

Innovation: Common Core Standards vs. Traditional State Standards: Best Research-Based Practices in ESL and Other Subjects. It will be held September

7, 2013 at Thomas Alva Edison School in Caguas from 7:30 am to 11:30 am. Our main goal is to educate teachers of the similarities and differences between Common Core Standards and Traditional State Standards. We want to offer our members the opportunity to reflect on educational innovations taking place today and how they can be integrated in their daily commitment. PRTESOL is responsible for giving teachers ingenious strategies and techniques to reach students every day. We know you have offered outstanding workshops before, and we would be honored to have you inspiring teachers of the central area. With your help the central area teachers will acknowledge that we are working to bring them the best resources to assist them in their daily challenge as ESL professors. We will appreciate your prompt response since we are designing our conference and promotions. The Central Chapter would love to count with talented professors like you on that day to share your knowledge and experience.
