    INTRODUCTION: Brakes are one of the most important control components of the vehicles. They contribute much in running and control of the vehicle. On the efficiency of brakes depends the lives of not only driver but also the passengers. The braking system used most frequently operates hydraulically, by pressure applied through a liquid. All the braking systems depend upon the friction between moving parts and stationary parts for their stopping force. CONTENTS OF AUTOMATIC BRAKING SYSTEM: 1. Necessity of braking system 2. Requirement of braking system. 3. Classification of braking system. 4. Function of braking system . 5. Necessity of automatic braking system.
