in existence in 1966. the College is approved by Medical Council of India, New Delhi. The SVBP Hospital has OPD in all clinical specialties & super-specialties in Endocrinology, Cardiology, and Neurosurgery. It is fully fortified with all up-to-date diagnostic accommodations in Pathology, Biochemistry, Microbiology and Radiology department. The hospital building was finished and became functional with 1040 beds subsequently, was formally inaugurated by the then Hon'ble Health Minister of U. P. Sri Prem Chand Sharma ji on 30th January 1972. The College provides modern facilities to its students.

The Master of Surgery is a research based program which consists of research in a specific aspect of surgery. This research will be conducted under academic supervision. Candidates are required to submit a thesis that is an original contribution to this field of research. This course is available to medical graduates of at least two years standing and not less than two years experience as a medical officer in a hospital affiliated to some suitable university for the task of teaching. It can be studied either on full-time or part-time basis.
