Miami University’s Student
Government realizes the
tough fiscal status the uni-
versity faces and this year
Main budget asks for no increase in its
points: budget request. After seeing
a 10.1% increase in the
overall budget during the

tions, we are already work-
ing to provide a more effi-
cient funding system with

We have continued to fis-
cally support club sports
after our 2006-2007 in-
crease, and as we look for-
ward, feel as if it is also
important to increase the
support for the Residence
Hall Association and Student
Initiative Fund.
Student Government
appreciates the support
the University gives it,
and will continue to
aim for efficiency with
the funds given to it.
