was the first company to introduce glycerin technology in a polymer matrix to the medical field under the trade name Elasto-Gel. All Elasto-Gel products utilize this unique and versatile technology. Southwest Technologies manufactures a variety of products including wound care, hot/cold therapy, pressure relief systems, custom/OEM and specialty products. Stimulen is a thick lotion, with very high collagen content, designed for stimulating cell growth in skin damaged by the sun and age as well as exposure to chemicals, soaps and detergents. It is recommended after dermatology treatments such as dermabrasions, chemical peelings, eyelid surgeries and procedures using lasers, radio frequency, TCA and pulsating light. Stimulen can also be used to smooth, hydrate, and soften wrinkles and dry skin. This product has been proven to be bacteriostatic and fungistatic. Instructions for Use: Apply 2 to 4 drops of the lotion evenly to deliver maximum benefits to the skin. Reapply as needed. Warning: Keep out of eyes. Rinse with water to remove. Stimulen Gel A gel formulated to produce a highly concentrated dispersion of modified collagen. This gel provides a method to apply these collagens to wounds, such as a leg in a vertical position or the bottom of the foot. It can also be used to fill a cavity wound. This gel contains a high level of glycerin. Cover the gel and wound area with an appropriate secondary dressing. We recommend that you use Elasto-Gel gel sheets. Elasto-Gel gel sheets containing high levels of glycerin have been shown to exhibit bacteriostatic properties. Instructions for Use 1. Tubes: Before use remove cap and peel off the safety seal. Packets: Tear corner off of the packet where packet is indented. 2. Cleanse the wound using standard protocol. 3. Apply a generous coating of the collagen gel onto wound site, or fill wound cavity. 4. Cover the wound and Stimulen with a non-adherent secondary dressing*, and secure with tape or appropriate covering. 5. Change the secondary dressing* and re-apply Stimulen collagen gel daily or as needed.
