Bible: These first two weeks we have been using the themes of responsibility, self-control, and love to talk about class rules as well as how we can be good neighbors to each other. We framed our discussion around the fruits of the spirit. Bible Memory: Matthew 5:9 Due: September 4 (This is an extra week from the 8/29 deadline since you just got the agendas today.) Math: *Number names and counting *One more and one less *Bunny hop and penny games Reading: Vocabulary: colors, classroom objects Phonics Skill: vowels Writing: We are working on practicing our letter formation as well as copying words. Morning Sharing: Each morning we have circle time where we are learning how to greet each other and also sing some songs in Spanish. Starting next week, FRIDAY WILL BE SHOW AND TELL. Each child can bring 1 thing to share. Please make sure it isnt too big. We are working on getting to know each other and to build class unity. They are all getting along so well and being great neighbors! They are also hard workers and making great progress in Spanish. This long weekend will be a great break. Well come back ready for another week! Keep reading with your child in English and begin working on having your child read to you!

Reminders *The Math Homelinks book stays at home. The agenda needs to come back and forth to school each day. *If you have not already done so, please send in an old sock or rag for your childs white board. * Remember to send lunch money in an envelope marked with your childs name and 1E.
