Social Morality Theory


Encompasses social taboos to ensure social harmony (The standard used to ensure social harmony). Oblige to the rules created by authority in society. So, the societys need is importance and NOT individuals need. Concerns human beings in relation to other human beings.

Social Morality Theory - Criticism


If the authority act authoritarian, it will effect the autonomy. The individual also will loss their moral duties. Cultural relativism will brings conflicts. Etc.
