Inventory System for Supply Office

Introduction Cavite State University Silang Campus has extended its facilities to fulfil the needs of the students. Actually in terms of numbers of equipments and supplies, the campus is improving. The security of the equipments and supplies are managed by the supply officer. They used record books and log books to report the purchased items accordingly. In supply rooms there is also equipments that can be borrowed by the instructors and students for academic purposes. The officer also uses log books to record the transactions. This is the old system that is implemented by the administrators. In some cases, reports of the inventory of the supply office are misplaced due to unorganized filing of it. What will be the effect of this issue the school? That is why we are proposing a new system that can secure the records of the supply office. In this new system, the records are filed accordingly; the transactions will be recorded systematically and the supply officer has the authority to control the proposed software.

Statement of the problem In past months, there are some cases of missing equipments that resulting for investigation. Most of the cause of the issue is the unrecorded transactions of borrowing items. Some problems are the records; they are not filed accordingly thats why the equipments are not monitored systematically.
