6 8 Year Old Post Lesson Plan

Activity: For this activity children should be asked to remake their building from the Lesson Plan (why we took photos) out of clay, trying to get as much detail and exactness as the student can. Once finished encourage the children to take photos of it, to place next to the ones from the Lesson Plan.

This activity is designed to give children a different art material to construct a 3D object with. It will give students a chance to manipulate different materials that are both natural but with different textures and different techniques that will need to be used construct the object with.

NOTE: This may be a difficult task as they are asked to reconstruct their first creation, students will need encouragement to finish the task to the best of their abilities. Be careful which sort of clay you buy, some are man-made and other are natural.
