Analyzation Question #3 Misjudgment was one of the reasons why death penalty was abolished; furthermore, there were

some hearings that were rushed and carelessly

terminated. Even the lowest courts can impose death penalty, thus, sending numerous people to the death row. On the other hand, the less fortunate people were greatly affected by the penalty since each trial would empty their pockets. They cant afford to seek justice for they prioritized on more important things that would require their money. It is noticeable before that some presidents took steps on the side of the Catholic Church despite of their controversial issues with this penalty. Some presidents temporarily removed the death penalty, and others called for permanent ban. Based on the facts presented, it can be said that those presidents took a political move meant to please and get the support from the Catholic Church. They wanted to have that good image so that they could gain the trust of the people again.
