Tactical Range Rules

All standard range safety rules apply. Only one shooter is allowed to engage targets either from within the shooting booth or pass the firing line. (Unless stated otherwise by range staff) Outside the pants strong side holsters only. (Unless stated otherwise by range staff) Crossing the firing line is only permitted when authorized by range staff. Firearms are allowed outside of the shooting booth but must be holstered or slung. Policing of the Tactical Bay is mandatory after each use.

Benefits

Drawing from the holster is authorized. Crossing the firing line is authorized. Engaging multiple targets is authorized. Rapid fire is authorized. Transition Drills are authorized. Various shooting positions are authorized. Shooting on the move is authorized.

Five Firearm Safety Rules:

Treat every weapon as if it were loaded. Never point a weapon at anything you do not intend to shoot Keep your finger straight and off the trigger until you intend to fire. Keep your weapon on safe until you are ready to fire. Know your target, what lies beyond, and in between.

Four Weapons Conditions for a Semi-Automatic Rifle:

Magazine inserted, Round in the chamber, Bolt forward, Weapon on safe, Ejection port cover closed. Does not apply to the weapon system. Magazine inserted, No round in the chamber, Bolt forward, Weapon on safe, Ejection port cover closed. No magazine inserted, No round in the chamber, Bolt forward, Weapon on safe, Ejection port cover closed.
