Accessing UltraPIPE Content and Whats This Help

On-line help information is available to you through UltraPIPE. This chapter describes how to access this help information and how to find what you need. There are two types of UltraPIPE Help: Content Help and Whats This? Help. Content Help is divided into two files, one for UltraPIPE without PVCalc and one for PVCalc. Content Help is essentially an electronic User Manual with easy searches and hyper-linked text. Whats This Help provides on-the-spot help for any field or button on each window. You can access UltraPIPE Content Help as follows: Select Help Topics from the Help Menu. When you activate help, you may use the following to navigate easily through the help topics: Contents - This option takes you to the initial help menu with a list of the high-level topics. Index This option lists keywords associated with the topics in the help file. You can go straight to needed information by locating topics containing keywords. Find This option allows you to search on words or phrases to locate topics within the help. You can navigate through UltraPIPEs help using the hot spot locations to jump to other topics. This text is Green and the mouse pointer will turn into a hand shape when text is hyperlinked. The setup of UltraPIPEs help is very similar to help that you would find with a Microsoft Windows program. You may refer to your Windows manual for more information on navigating through help. You can access UltraPIPE Whats This Help as follows: Click on the icon on the main window for Whats This for all main window buttons as well as all help for the following windows: Master Listing - Add/Rename/Delete Eq/Circ IDs
