IS 2062 Standard (Rev2006)

This standard was formerly known as IS 226. Now IS 2062 has replaced this specification. This grade is for "Steel for general structural purposes". Structural steel manufactured by MAHAVIR STEEL INDUSTRIES LIMITED, PUNE, meets all the quality parameters of this standard to Grade A. This grade is also commonly known as IS 2062 - GRE 250(Fe - 410 - W)A, broadly, specifications of this grade Fe gllow A are as under.
