Sheridans International Centre offers a comprehensive range of services and is the first point of contact for international students. Our dedicated and supportive team of professionals take pride in caring for our international students needs every step of the way. We also assist international students with social and cultural integration. Our services include: A  dvice on selecting a career-oriented program, admission requirements and registration. A  n orientation to help you become familiar with your new surroundings and Sheridans campuses. A  ssistance in answering questions regarding study/ work permits, extensions and letters of attendance. I nformation about health insurance, on-campus employment, SIN cards, scholarships and awards. A  ccess to dozens of student groups, associations and organizations which host events and social activities and workshop sessions throughout the year.

Student Residences
All Sheridan residences offer fully furnished suites with common kitchen and laundry facilities. During the school year (September to April) rooms are available on both the Davis and Trafalgar Road campuses for approximately $6,500 CDN Public transit is available for Mississauga campus students living in residence. I come from Brazil and Im currently attending the Project Management post-graduate program at Sheridan College, and so far it has been an absolutely wonderful experience. Need help learning English?


We offer a comprehensive English as a Second Language (ESL) program featuring:  Five levels of instruction: Foundation, Pre-intermediate, Intermediate, Advanced and English for Academic Purposes (EAP).  Testing upon arrival to determine the appropriate level for you. ESL sessions last seven weeks (25 hours of study/week) and cost $2,753 CDN. This includes tuition, health insurance, and use of the computer lab.

English Proficiency
All international students whose first language is not English must provide a successful TOEFL (Test of English as a Foreign Language) or IELTS (International English Language Testing System) score. Our minimum scoring requirements are as follows:

How to Apply
Complete the Sheridan International Admissions Application Form available online at www.studyatsheridan.ca. A $100 CDN non-refundable application fee is required at the time of application. Acceptable methods of payment include electronic wiretransfer, Visa or MasterCard.

Degree and Postgraduate Applicants


IELTS 6.5 overall band with no band below 6.0. TOEFL iBT 88 with a minimum of 21 in each section. Applicants with a minimum of three years high school or postsecondary studies in Canada, Australia, Ghana, Kenya, Nigeria, New Zealand, Singapore, U.S., U.K. and some Caribbean* countries will be exempted from TOEFL/IELTS requirements upon provision of a full transcript. (*Exclusions are: Cuba, Dominican Republic,
Haiti and Puerto Rico.)

Fees Paid to Brock University

ESL students may be offered conditional admission to full-time programs pending successful completion of the EAP level. Applicants to a Diploma/Certificate program must achieve a minimum EAP grade of 70%. Applied Degree and Graduate Certificate applicants must achieve a minimum EAP grade of 75%.

Applications are accepted and reviewed throughout the year. Please note you can apply online without a IELTS/TOEFL document at time of application; you may submit it at a later date. Deadline dates specific to your term will be communicated to you after you apply.
