SUBJECT : Song Search for CFC 2014 Theme -----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------Dear Brothers and Sisters, Alleluia! Praise God for the gift of praise and worship! The CFC Music Ministry Core is open to accept originally composed songs from CFC and its Family Ministries that will reflect the CFC 2014 theme BEHOLD and PONDER. This is inspired from John 19:26-27, When Jesus saw his mother and the disciple there whom he loved, he said to his mother, Woman, behold, your son. Then he said to the disciple, Behold, your mother. And from that hour the disciple took her into his home. Please see attached memo from the International Council on full background of the theme. The objectives of the search are the following: 1. To be able to discover Spirit-led originally written songs that expresses our conviction in relation to our theme for 2014. 2. To work with the composer(s) to fit the arrangement and lyrics of the potential song(s) to the theme. This initiative is not intended for competition and will not go through the usual Glory Songwriting Festival process. There will be no concert to determine the result of the search, but there will be a panel of judges appointed by the CFC Music Ministry Core to discern the relevance of the song(s). The selected song(s) that are to be submitted will give Couples for Christ the right to use it for its intended purpose.
