Dear Chainnan Obey and Ranking Member Lewis:

I am requesting funding for The Baltimore Excellence in Science Teaching Partnership in Fiscal
Year 2010. The entity to receive funding for this project is the Towson University, located at
8000 York Road, Towson, Maryland, 21252. The funding would be used for a partnership
involving Towson University, Coppin State University and MdBioLab for the need for more
STEM (science, technology, engineering and mathematics) teachers.
