Sumit Kumar Jha joined Tata Motors as a Graduate Engineer Trainee in August 2010 and on the basis of his performance during probation, he was selected to be a part of a project for a period of One year from May 2011April 2012 under my supervision. During the course of the project, I have found him to be a most capable and a remarkably efficient manager. He is industrious and hardworking and it is noteworthy that in spite of all the tough challenges involved, he carried out his responsibilities very competently. He showed great potential by frequently coming up with inputs which were always very valuable. As part of a team, Sumit was responsible for the overall optimization of Chassis Assembly line in terms of scheduling, planning, quality improvements and increase in productivity. The tasks delegated to him were quite exacting and required considerable diligence and focus. And I am happy to say that with his structured approach and proficiency, his performance has exceeded my expectations. Sumit also has to his credit considerable academic merits and other accomplishments, and I am certain that he will be an asset to any organization he is associated with. After a successful term on my team, it is with pleasure, then, that I give him my highest recommendation.
