Introduce task. 5 Verbs mins - What is a verb? (a verb is a doing / action word) Eg. Walk, grow, jump, smile, frown, kick. Verb rap (http://goo.gl/ftKvg) Use IWB to play rap students follow along and perform actions. Verb poster Students think of verbs whilst the teacher writes them on poster paper.
